Death the Kid X Reader- Symmetrical Romance- Pt.2

Today was the start of summer break. You were enjoying your free time by relaxing with a cold cup of (beverage name). You loved summer break because no more school and you get to hang out with your friends especially Kid. Your love for Kid grew ever since you told him you liked him, but you felt the urge to tell him you really love him. You sat in your seat and thought "I should tell him! But, what if he doesn't like me anymore. What if he likes someone else! That would destroy our love for each other, or so  I think..." All your thoughts has been interrupted by your phone. You picked up your phone and look for the caller ID. It was Kid. You smile and pick it up. "Hello?" "Hello (y/n)! How are you?" Kid asked. Your conversation lasted about fifteen minutes then Kid said "I have an emergency (y/n). You need to go to my house!" This made you stop smiling. "Okay." you said in a serious tone.
After the conversation, you got ready and left your house quickly as you can. you even ran to his house and pace up to his front porch. You try to catch your breath and Kid opened the door. "Oh my (y/n) are you okay?" Kid said in shock. You nod and say "C-can I come i-in?" you said breathless. Kid nodded and help you get inside. You sat on a chair and Kid sat next to you. "Are you okay? Try to take in deep breaths." Kid said. You nod and take in deep breaths. You catch your breath and calm down.
"So, what's the emergency?" you said. Kid smiled and said "There is no emergency." "What?" you asked. You were so confused that you started to think again. "Why did he call me if he had no emergency? Was this a joke? Why?" Kid smiled at you and scooted closer next to you. You scoot away. "Why did you want me here if there's no emergency?" you asked. Kid replied "Because I want to tell you something." "Well you could've told me that you wanted to tell me on the phone!" you said a little louder. "No, I wanted to do it face to face so I wanted to tell you that I...I..." "You what?" you asked. "Why cant I do this? I was ready but why could I not do it?! I'm such a fail... I have to do this! Come on Kid! Do it for (y/n)!" Kid thought. "I... I uhmm..." Kid stuttered. "What? What is it? Is it something you have to get off your chest?" Kid nodded and kept trying. "Just say it! It will help!" you said. "Come on Kid! She's right! You know what, screw this." Kid thought. Kid leaned forward and kissed you. You were shocked but then you let it sink in. Kid broke the kiss and blushed. You blushed with him. "W-What was that for?" you said. "I-I love you, (y/n)" Kid said as he brought you into a hug. You smile and told Kid "I love you to,  Kid"
